It will be shortly declared that yours truly will be the choose for this year’s “Paint the City” Labor Day Present sponsored by the Montgomery Art Affiliation

The Paint the Town Labor Day Display is one of the region’s greatest and longest-managing art reveals composed of all community artists. The show will be open up to the general public Saturday-Monday, September 3-5, and I will do both of those the shut-door judging and then and on Saturday, September 3, I will also choose the plein air competitors and then current the awards.

About the Plein Air Opposition: As you walk all over Kensington on the Saturday of the display weekend, you’ll see dozens of artists portray and drawing all about city. All those are individuals of the once-a-year Plein Air Competitiveness. From 7 am-3 pm, older people and children complete paintings with a Kensington theme and post them for prizes awarded by me. The levels of competition is open up to all adults and young children. Totally free for little ones underneath 18 and existing MAA associates adults fork out $10 for each individual. Registration opens July 15.

FRIDAY, JULY 15: Phone for entries opens (customers only)

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 3: Show ground open up 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Plein air art opposition, 7 a.m.-3 p.m. — Awards ceremony, 6-8 p.m.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 4: Show floor open up, 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. 

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5: Exhibit flooring open up, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Choose up purchased artwork, 5:00-8:00 p.m.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6: Choose up bought artwork, 9-11 a.m.
