Spreading kindness through art: Community, unity emphasized in new student exhibit – The Daily Reporter

GREENFIELD – Local community, kindness and unity glow via in vivid coloration and creativeness in a new art show by regional pupils at Hancock Regional Hospital.

The Hancock County Kids’ Artwork Contest was hosted this spring in partnership with Greenfield-Group, Hancock Health and Healthy365 Relationship Centre. Around 140 K-12 scholar entries ended up submitted, with profitable artists coming from each school corporation all through Hancock County.

On May 18, winners attended a reception and acquired a dollars prize, artwork offer baskets and recognition – combined in with a little bit of fun with Hank, the orange kindness frog and mascot of Hancock Overall health.

Second place winners were being Johnny Mackey, grades K-2 Avery Breberich, grades 3-4 Dellen Douglass, grades 5-6 Kennedy Tooke grades 7-8 and Grace Combs, grades 9-10.

Third put winners ended up Paisley Fields, grades K-2 Kaylee Ford grades 3-4 Quinn Muterspaugh, grades 5-6 Madi Moss, grades 7-8 and Savanah Hardin, grades 9-10.

The best 15 artist entries ended up also posted on the Greenfield-Local community Facebook web site for a People’s Choice award. Site followers selected Marmina Rafael’s contest submission for very first area, Fallyn White for 2nd and Penelope Dearth for third.
