Harman Jobs is pleased to present Interior Romance, a solo exhibition by Montreal-based artist Marie-Claude Marquis. The exhibition will be Marquis’ debut solo presentation in New York Town and will mark the grand opening of Harman Jobs.
As a result of her bold and sincere statements showing as hand painted textual content on the surfaces of nostalgic classic plates, Marquis finds typical floor with the viewer. Not only do these common objects feel as if they have been conjured instantly from an previous memory, but the artist’s text demonstrates several of our internal most thoughts and thoughts.
