Five-County Art Show returns to Oak Harbor

OAK HARBOR — The 54th annual Five-County Invitational Art Show will be held noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Oak Harbor High School.

Art teachers from Erie, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca and Wood counties will fill the cafeteria area and auditorium lobby with artwork created by students and art educators. Student artwork (both three-dimensional and two-dimensional) will be judged. Best-of-Show will be awarded at junior high/middle school and high school levels.

The public is invited.

Woodmore board, committees set upcoming meetings

ELMORE — Woodmore Board of Education rescheduled its April regular meeting for 6 p.m. Monday at the High School Media Cente, 633 Fremont St. The agenda will be distributed Friday.

Woodmore’s Communications Committee will hold a meeting at 5:15 p.m. April 28 in the High School Media Center.

The Facilities Committee will meet at 5 p.m. May 11, also in the media center.

The Finance and Audit Committee will meet at 5 p.m. May 16 at the Board of Education Office, 349 Rice St.

The public is welcome to attend each meeting and may call 419-862-1060 with any questions.

Great Lakes Addiction Services to transition to Talbot Health Services

CLYDE — The Bellevue Hospital announced Great Lakes Addiction Services will transition patients to Talbot Health Services, a provider of alcohol and drug prevention, education, driver intervention programming, and substance use disorder and mental health treatment in Northwest Ohio for nearly 10 years.

Great Lakes Addiction Services, 420 W. McPherson Highway, has offered local residents outpatient treatment options for substance use disorder for more than five years. As part of the transition, Talbot Health Services plans to open a satellite office in this space. Talbot also operates treatment sites in Toledo, Mansfield, and Chillicothe.

Beginning April 15, Talbot Health Services began offering medication assisted treatment and mental health services to patients at the Clyde location. Initially, this will be offered through Telehealth, and shortly thereafter, in person.

Providers currently providing addiction services, including Douglas Hoy, MD; Dawn Bova, NP; and Pamela Cramer, NPwill continue to provide these services as part of the Talbot team.
