Book Review: The Art of Lightyear

The Art of Lightyear is a 176-web page hardcover artbook packed with principle art for Pixar’s 2022 movie Lightyear.

The guide capabilities plenty of character patterns. There are free sketches, clay sculpts, coloured illustrations and significant resolution 3D products. Excitement Lightyear seems to be truly cool in this spin-off animated movie of the Toy Tale collection. The guide still left out the initial 3D product from the to start with Toy Story movie even though. It would be interested to see how the 3D design again then compares to the new 1. Other figures are the friends and colleagues and of training course Zurg.

It can be pretty enjoyment to see Pixar’s take on the sci-fi deep place genre by patterns for the environment, room stations, spaceships. There are also more storyboards than I anticipated. There isn’t much text though, just the occasional paragraphs talking about the designs.

The artworks in this guide glance lovely. It really is a wonderful companion artbook for the motion picture.
