Schack Art Center: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett; 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Admission is free. Tour the Schack Art Center’s galleries, store, hot shop and silversmithing studio. Through Nov. 6, Schack-toberfest, celebrate fall with Everett’s glass pumpkin patch and harvest art festival. Make your own glass pumpkin. Bid on the fall silent auction. Also: The annual “Holiday Art” exhibit, this year featuring the Northwest Watercolor Society, will open on Nov. 18. Cascadia Art Museum: The museum, at 190 Sunset Ave. S., Edmonds, is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Admission for members and students is free, adults $10, military and seniors $7, and families (two adults and up to three children) $25. Smith,” featuring a well-known Seattle sculptor who began showing his work worldwide in the 1950s.

Hibulb Cultural Center: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday; noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; Free first Thursdays until 8 p.m. 6410 23rd Ave. NE, Tulalip; 360-716-2600; www.hibulbculturalcenter.org. Interactive displays introduce you to the legacy of the Tulalip people by giving you a historic perspective of the bands that make up the Tulalip Tribes. These stories are told in Lushootseed and English. Extended through October is “The Power of Words: A History of Tulalip Literacy,” an exhibit featuring the works of seven Tulalip authors and the original Point Elliott Treaty of 1855, on loan from the National Archives in Washington, D.C.

Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday at 703 S. Second St., La Conner. Admission is $7, with discounts for students, children, military and members. Two exhibits are up through Oct. 31: “Hand-knotted Oriental Style Rugs,” featuring the Hand-Knotted Oriental Rug Society, and “Minding Color,” featuring the Washington chapter of the Studio Art Quilt Assocation. Also: The group exhibition “Dia de los Muertos: A Day of Remembrance” is up through Nov. 28.

The exhibition “Dan Friday: Future Artifacts,” featuring the work of the Seattle-based glass artist, is showing through Nov 14. Friday’s inspiration is often drawn from his Coast Salish heritage.

October’s featured artists are Beth Bridgers Johns and Christine Crowell. Johns is a photographer, while Crowell does oil paintings, encaustics and glass mosaics.

Jason Webley and Grey Filastine will give a talk about their floating art projects — Webley’s Flotsam River Circus of Everet and Filastine’s Arka Kinari of Indonesia — at 6 p.m. Oct. 17. The two met in the ’90s when Webley was asked to open for Filastine’s band TchKung!

Cole Gallery: The gallery, at 107 Fifth Ave. S., Edmonds, is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday; 425-697-2787; www.colegallery.net. The exhibition, “The Contemporary Collective,” displayed Oct. 1 through Nov.1, features the work of Thomas McCafferty, C.A. Peirce, Scott Gellatly, Kimberly Adams and Cheryl Waale. An artist’s reception with Scott Gellatly — featuring live jazz from the Rich Cole Trio — is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 21.

The October exhibit “Landscapes, Animals, and Birds, Oh My!” features watercolors by Lynnea Mattson. Meet the artist 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 10, 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 21 or 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 28.

JAG ArtWorks: The gallery is open 12:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 12:30 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday; 2940 Colby Ave., Everett; 425-535-6875; jagartworks.business.site. The third annual “Graffiti and Slap” show is on display through Oct. 23.

Christopher “Siege” James describes his style as “industrial figurative” because he often uses type and technical imagery from atmospheric graphs and topographical maps.

Penn Cove Gallery: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily; 9 NW Front St., Coupeville; 360-678-1176; www.penncovegallery.com. October’s featured artist is Timothy Haslet. An oil painter, Haslet specializes in landscapes and portraits.

Rob Schouten Gallery & Sculpture Garden: The gallery, at 101 Anthes Ave., Langley, is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. More at www.robschoutengallery.com. The next exhibition features the gallery owner himself: Rob Schouten’s “Aquatint Etchings and Paintings” will be on display through Nov. 1.

October’s featured artist is Lisa McShane. An oil painter, her recent work includes a series based on repeat visits to a beach on Padilla Bay.

Sunnyshore Studio: 2803 SE Camano Drive, Camano Island; 317-209-6768; www.sunnyshorestudio.com. The exhibition “Impressions of Camano,” featuring new artwork by watercolorist Jason Dorsey, will be showing 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 6 and 13. This is the first solo show of Dorsey’s work.
